In my travels I have met a wide variety of people and the most interesting thing I have noticed about horse people is the differences in their approach to horses and also the training techniques that they use. I have noticed that horses have an impressive capacity to adapt to different training methods, situations and challenges.
My students both in the US and Europe, all come from different riding disciplines and backgrounds, such as dressage, western riding, show jumping and trail/pleasure riding. I offer colt-starting classes and advanced training and I also do consulting work with farriers and veterinarians to sort out handling problems. Furthermore, I work closely with trainers and breaders who come to me for advice and guidance in the re-training of young problem colts, and the handling of stallions.
My goal here is also my greatest passion, and that is to take all the misunderstandings that can occur between horse and man, and help them understand each other and function well together. I work with the horse owner to re-educate the horse so that it becomes a trustworthy, light, willing, and sure equine partner. This is all dependent upon one single and crucial element and that is to be able to communicate a feel in a clear and consistent way.
I look forward to working with you, and your horses.
